In-Kind Donations
Many people choose to support Harmony House both financially and by donating items that help the people we serve each day.
That starts with basic necessities like socks and healthy snacks –items that those coming to our day shelter can use on a daily basis as we help them find permanent housing solutions.
We also work to provide housewarming items to individuals and families who secure apartments.
While those items can be used year-round, some things are more important based on the season – gloves in the winter and T-shirts in the summer.
If you have extra, gently-used items that you would like to donate, items can be dropped off at 627 4th Avenue during office hours – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
For more information or to set up a donation, contact Assistant Director, Marissa Clark, at 304-523-2764, ext. 102, or by email at [email protected].
